All Is Lost (film critique) By. Cesar Reyes Torres
For a movie whose entire spoken script consists of less than a paragraph. This movie is heartbreaking, inspiring , and intense all at the same time. Stories that tell a persons fight for survival are always interesting, but the way this film (All is Lost) captures every last effort that the films only character (Robert Redford) put up was heartbreaking and motivating. Heartbreaking because you see him struggle and fight with every bit of whit and strength that he has and he still comes up short, and motivating because it really makes you reflect on your self and ask your self, "Have I done everything possible to succeed before I call it quits?" This movie is for those who can relate to the kind of person in a circumstance where all they have is their will to not fail.
