Religulous Movie (film critique) By. Cesar Reyes Torres

He puts the most extremist religious people on screen , and then surrounds them with stereotypes of seemingly mentally lll Christians. The experts he puts on are rudely and constantly interrupted by him, and if he's not interrupting them he's editing there comments and replacing with movie clips to make them look stupid. He had a scientist there who studied people who speak in tongues and the total amount of there long conversation was edited to no more than 30 seconds at best. Bill Maher is full of him self, and he left out one religion , "Athiesm". They may not consider it a religion, but they do harm people. Maybe not in there eyes, but in the eyes of billions, they do. Atheist like Bill Maher often like saying that just because they are not the majority, that it doesn't mean they are wrong. But it doesn't mean they are right either.  They point to fossils, and hold up the poster of the walking monkeys, but they weren't there, so they don't know for a 100 % certainty. They may be 99.99% sure, but people of faith such as myself, are basing our eternal life on the 0.01% chance that they are wrong. Because that's what hope is based on,  a slim chance that defies what logic will tell you will happen. If you have hope then you have faith, and if you have faith then nothing else matters.

You say you love me but...By Cesar Reyes Torres

You say you love me but you make excuses for not coming to visit the house thats built in my name
You say you’ve never been able to find me but you’ve never tried looking in the most obvious places
You say you’d do anything for me, but you refuse to simply walk with me
You say you want me to give you patience, but refuse to be patient in its arrival
You say you follow me, but you don’t do any of the work that I lay in front of you
You say you honor me in your own way, and then you wonder why you feel lost
You say you have faith, then why is prayer always the last place you turn to
You say you want me close but you have other things that are closer to you
You say you want me to guide you but the you choose not to follow me
You say you trust me but then you question my intentions for you

Do what God asks of you. By Cesar Reyes Torres

The people who have God in their lives who accomplish things that seem impossible, Accomplish them with such grace and such a smile that it leaves others around them in awe of them and they are among the most cherished by the Lord. But not for the reasons you might think. What is good is not the size of the accomplishment but more so that they did as God asked them to do. Whether it was to help heal the sick, feed the homeless, or build an Ark. People who always do as God asks of them will always be blessed. Do what people ask of you and at best they may remember you for a little while, Do as God asks of you and you will be blessed for it and he will never forget any task that you accomplished in his name.

Trying to make it without God. By Cesar Reyes Torres

Sometimes you come across people who always seem to be struggling and you say to yourself, “How come that person cant ever do simple things, like hold down a job, not do drugs, not hurt or harm others, why why why ?”.Now they may struggle and fight and inch there way into overcoming there obstacles, but imagine how less painful there struggles would have been if they would have put their faith in God as apposed to misleading paths with false broken promises that have always been used to make fortunes for dishonest men.

Your Relationship with God. By Cesar Reyes Torres

Your relationship with God has to come before everything. Its has to be stronger than any building material , stronger than stone and steel, or wind and fire. If you keep a strong relationship with God than everything else will follow, love will surround you. Compassion will penetrate your soul and nothing will be able to keep you down. Your focus in life should not be based on the things that you want to do in life, they should be based on the things that God wants you to do in life.

How to let go. By Cesar Reyes Torres

You start by realising all of the amazing people you have in your life. How much they care about you, and how much you impact each others lives, and how how much you make each other smile. Then you compare them to the people who would hurt you and keep you down. Those people are not worth holding onto. And even though there may be a part of you that says, if they could only see how happy I am now, they'd feel stupid about the friend they threw away. But those thoughts are only attachments to people who don't matter anymore. And one day as easily as something on your shirt that you can pick up with two fingers, you will be able to pick every memory of those people up and simply tell your self "let go"...and they will be gone from your life.
